Monday 2nd February 2026: Parish Office Closed. Bank Holiday. Presentation of the Lord
Candlemas Day. Blessing of Candles will take place at 10.00am Mass in Parish Church.
Please ensure your name is clearly on your candles & collected in a timely manner on the
day.
Tuesday 3rd February 2026: Feast of St. Blaise. Blessing of Throats will take place at all
Masses @ 8.00am in Mount Carmel & 10.00am in Parish Church. 1.05pm & 7.00pm, The
Blessing of Throats ONLY in Parish Church. Silence is necessary as Adoration of the
Blessed Sacrament is taking place. Mass bookings will commence up to & including July
2026.
Wednesday 11th February 2026: Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, World Day of the Sick,
Anointing of the Sick at all Masses 8.00am in Mount Carmel & 10.00pm in Parish Church.
Anointing of the Sick ONLY @ 3.00pm in Parish Church.
Tuesday 17th February 2026: Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day.
Wednesday 18th February 2026: Ash Wednesday. Ashes will be given at all Masses.
